Here’s how…

Avoid Direct Sun Exposure:
Make sure to apply sunscreen after every 3 hours until your skin is improved. This is even important if you are going out in the sun. Wear a cap and shade for an extra layer of protection.
Avoid Heavy Workouts:
Don’t perform excess exercising the day after your microdermabrasion. Also, avoid swimming in chlorinated pools for a couple of days after your treatment as chlorine present in the pool water can dry up your skin.
Don’t Touch Your Skin:
Resist an urge to touch your skin every now and then. Your hands may carry germs that may pass on to the skin, which is already in a healing stage. Therefore, wash your hands before applying cream, sunscreen or lotion. Besides, you shouldn’t scratch or pick at your skin.
Ease Your Skin:
Drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated.
Cool your skin off:
After the treatment, your face may feel like it has sun burn. Wash or spray your face with cold water to make it feel better. Besides, you can try ice compress (wrapping ice cubes in a cloth or towels) to ease the burning sensation.
See Your Physician If You are bleeding:
Don’t take bleeding from the treated area lightly. Watch for small red bumps which are likely to bleeding or showing bleeding under the surface of your skin. You should visit your doctor in this case.
Don’t Take Painkillers:
Avoid taking medicines like aspirin or Ibuprofenas it can cause petechiae or purpuraandaggravate them. It is better to consult your physician to get advice over medication.
Take a Note of Your Recovery:
Is your skin healing? Are you noticing changes like redness or swelling? Carefully monitor to what extent the redness or swelling is advancing. See your doctor if the signs persist for more than three days. Similarly, see if the redness or swelling starts a few days after the treatment, when you should be completely recovered. A visit to physician is also necessary when you are experiencing pain for more than 3 days.
